Lately I have been discovering some easy and fun craft projects that I can do without spending a bunch of money. One of them is marble magnets. You've seen them, I am sure. They make great gifts and are fun to make.

All you need are some clear glass gems that are flat on one side ( I like to use 1.5 inch Marble Accent Clear Gems from Richards arts and Crafts), clear drying glue, and some magnets (I like the 1" wide magnetic strip roll which I cut the circles out of).
It's pretty self explanatory... but all you do is select the image you want to use and place it under the flat marble to see how it looks. Once you have decided on the image, cut it out to fit the marble, glue the image side to the flat side of the marble, and wait for it to dry. Once dry, glue your magnet to the back and wait for it to dry. Wahla! Custom magnets!
